A Guide to Your Boudoir Session

Hii! It's Bunny here, ready to guide you on your journey of self discovery and empowerment. I specialize in creating original artistic images that showcase your confidence and inner bad ass.
My favourite things to reference are vintage adult magazines, showgirls of the past, & cult classics.
I love to tell stories through these sessions. Studio sets are classic, and I love them, but getting out of the bedroom set and creating a themed session is totally up my alley. There's no idea that's too big. This is all something we can chat about when you're in the booking process. Let's get into actually prepping for your shoot.
Before We Hop into the Studio:
- Plan Your Outfit: This is your chance to explore! We'll brainstorm together to create a variety of looks that make you feel sexy and powerful. Lingerie, interesting fabrics (latex anyone?), playful costumes, or even cozy fits, the key is to choose something you feel HOT in. Feeling overwhelmed? No worries! Bring more options than you think you'll need, and I'll be there to help you curate the perfect outfits for your session.
- Hydration is Key: Drinking plenty of water in the days leading up to your shoot is a must. Hydrated skin photographs soo beautifully, so grab your water bottle and get hydrated! (I have such a hard time with this one, electrolyte powders help me lots.) Your skin will thank you...speaking of skin, stay lotioned up. Moisturize your skin daily and even bring cream or oil to your session to avoid being dry and flaky.
- Smooth Moves: Waxing or shaving a day or two beforehand is recommended to avoid any redness, but ultimately the choice is yours. Do what makes you feel the most confident. Hair or bare. We don't care!
- Reminder! Avoid wearing a bra, socks or tight underwear the day of your session. Come in wearing loose fitting clothing to avoid any marks on your skin.
- Makeup and Hair: Feeling unsure about your hair and makeup? Do a trial run beforehand. Test out different styles and see what makes the most sense for your session. Of course, I'm always happy to offer suggestions and collab on creating the perfect look.
On Shoot Day, Let's Get Creative!
- Posing: Don't worry about the poses. This is your chance to sink into it and have fun. I pose you every step of the way, guiding you through the angles and movements.

While Bunny Photography doesn't directly offer hair and makeup services, we can certainly recommend some talented stylists in the area who can help you create the perfect look.
Q: What should I bring to the shoot?
Here's a quick checklist to ensure you have everything you need:
- Your chosen outfits and accessories. (more is best!)
- Makeup/comb or hair brush for touch ups.
- Lotion or oil to stay smooth.
- A robe to change in between outfits.
- Your favourite drink to keep your energy up. (or water!)
- Any specific props you'd like to use during the shoot.
Q: Can I bring a friend for support?
Absolutely! Bringing a close friend or partner for moral support can be a great idea. Just make sure they understand the nature of the shoot and are comfortable being there.
Q: How long will the shoot take?
Boudoir sessions typically last around 40 minutes to 1 hour, depending on the chosen package. But don't worry, Bunny is all about creating a relaxed and enjoyable experience, so we'll take breaks whenever needed.
Q: What will you do with my photos?
All your photos are kept completely confidential. Bunny uses a secure online gallery to deliver your edited images, and you have full control over who sees them. We always ask permission to use the photos online.

No worries. Boudoir is about what you feel comfortable with. We can create empowering images with a variety of outfits. We can even incorporate props or strategically placed objects to enhance the feel without revealing too much. The focus is on capturing your inner bad ass, no matter how much or how little you're wearing.
